         <description><![CDATA[The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced the members of the 2007 NCAA Division II USTFCCCA Men's and Women's All-Academic Cross Country teams on Monday. Grand Valley State University placed four men and two women on the teams. To qualify for individual all-academic honors, the student-athlete must have completed 24 semester or 36 quarter hours and have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale. The student-athlete must also finish in the top 30 percent of individual participants at their respective regional cross country championships.]]></description>

Ardingo finished the course in 21:25.3 to finish 20th overall, and GVSU's total of 181 points put them just three points back of second place Seattle Pacific. The Lakers were ranked No. 3 heading into the National Championships.]]></description>
