Columbia, Mo. - The Grand Valley State women's swimming & diving team is currently in 14th with 57 points at the 2008 NCAA DII Men's Swimming & Diving Championships in Columbia, Missouri. The Lakers will continue competing at the NCAA Championships through Saturday, March 15.

Jenna Thayer finished ninth in the 200IM with a time of 2:06.00, while the 200 medley relay team of Danielle Buglio, Alison VanKampen, Thayer and Allison Scholz finished 10th in a time of 1:47.20. The 200 free relay team was 7th as Scholz, Melissa Faletti, Thayer and Kim Baughman touched in 1:36.09. Thayer added a 14th-place finish in the 100 fly (57.73) and the 400 medley relay team of Buglio, Thayer, VanKampen and Scholz touched 13th (3:56.27).
