2005: Abston took 12th place at the GLIAC Championships covering the 8K course in 27:12.

2004: Redshirted the Cross Country season.

2003-2004: Took 17th place at the GLIAC Cross Country Championship with an 8K time of 25:48....Finished in 36th place at the Great Lakes Regional Championship with a 10K time of 33:06....Ran 35:06 at the NCAA Cross Country Championship to help the Lakers to a 14th place finish.

2002-2003: Ran a season best 8K of 26:06 at the Michigan Intercollegiate Meet.

High School: USATF All-American.
