High School: Prepped at Petoskey High School...First-Team All-Big North Conference selection as a senior...Recorded 85 tackles and picked off seven passes during final prep campaign...Earned Second-Team All-Big North Conference plaudits as a junior when he tallied 78 tackles...Three-time state qualifier in track & field...Earned honorable mention all-league honors in basketball as a senior.

Personal: Son of Bill and Peggy Munson...Brother was an All-GLIAC performer at Northern Michigan.
