Women's soccer and football both had 15 players named to the teams, while men's and women's cross country earned 13 and eight nods, respectively. Six volleyball players and four women's tennis players also earned GLIAC All-Academic recognition, as well. In order to be a member of the team, a player must have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher and cannot be a freshman or a first-year transfer.]]></description>

Seniors Anthony Adams (LB), Brandon Barnes (OT) and Brandon Carr (CB), along with junior Dan Skuta (DL) have all been named to various all-american teams following the 2007 season. GVSU finished the 2007 campaign with a 12-1 mark and advanced to the NCAA DII semifinals for the sixth time in the last seven years. Grand Valley State has won four NCAA DII Football National Championships and played in five title games since 2001.]]></description>
