High School -- Prepped at West Bloomfield High School under head coach Larry Moore...Also participated in field events as a member of the track & field team...Won the team rebounding award as a freshman and a sophomore...Was named the team MVP as a sophomore...Team made the district finals in 2004...Averaged 16 points and 14 rebounds in 2005, along with 13 points and 12 rebounds in 2006...Was honorable mention all-state and a nominee in 2007 for the Michigan Mr. Basketball award and also a nominee as a McDonald's All-American.
