Ron Merrihew, 24, has been appointed as a graduate assistant for the Laker men's basketball program. Merrihew, who graduated from both Grace Bible College and Cornerstone University in 2004, after serving most recently as the boys freshman coach at Byron Center High School.

Merrihew's duties will include video exchange and breakdown, scouting and student-athlete's academics.
