Holds Grand Rapids-area records for strikeouts in a game (20), season (187) and career (449)...has five career no-hitters (seventh in state history)...ranks among the top 25 in state history in ERA in a season (0.77), career ERA (1.73), single-season strikeouts and career strikeouts...a career .440 hitter...earned all-state honors his senior year and all-conference honors all four years...as a senior, hit .462 with three homers and 20 RBI in 22 games, and on the mound went 9-2 with a 0.77 ERA and 187 strikeouts in 88.1 innings...as a junior, hit .448 with 27 RBI, 27 stolen bases in 22 games to garner all-conference honors...on the mound, went 8-3 with a 1.53 ERA and 133 K's in 64 innings...also lettered in soccer and basketball...River Valley Conference all-conference four years in golf, once in basketball...scored 46 points in a game his senior season in basketball against North Pointe Christian.

Born April 26, 1986, to David and Jane Slusher...undecided on a major....father David played soccer and golf at Cedarville College...father was his golf coach in high school...pitched for the Wilson (N.C.) Tobs in the Coastal Plain League in summer of 2006...will pitch for the Columbus All-Americans in summer of 2007.
